What was funny about their cake eating is that Adaline stuck one dainty finger in the icing and licked it off over and over again. Arthur crunched it in his fist and pulverized it in the tray. We gave him another one. He did the same. He actually only took one bite, but destroyed both of them nevertheless. Meanwhile, Adaline was still ever the little lady.
